River Grimsa Fly Fishing zone
River Grimsa flows from the north-east into Folldal municipality and joins river Folla at Grimsbu.
The Fly Fishing zone covers the last 4 km of Grimsa. The river changes between some rapids and calm stretches. Grimsa is a relatively small river, and easy to wade. It also is easily accessible, there is a forest road running along the river's east side along the whole fly-zone. Grimsa holds trout and grayling: fish stocks consist of about 70% trout and 30% grayling. The big fish can be challenging to get, but there are really nice sized trout and grayling. Grimsa flows mainly through woodland, with some small spots of cultivated land in the lower half of the fly zone.
