A 20 km long stretch in the upper parts of Glomma. The river is varied and changing between rapids and calm sections. There are many riffles, slower stretches and deep pools. This makes the river very attractive for fly fishing. The lower part of this river stretch also contains River Vangrøfta and River Nøra to this area. These are smaller rivers which can offer exciting fishing. Grayling and trout are the dominant fish species. In most rivers the size of the fish is often greatest in the upper parts, the areas in the upper Glomma are no exception.
