Glomma - Eidsfossen stretch
The zone starts at Eidsfossen waterfall and stops about 1 kilometer downstream Kvennan Camping (total length zone approx. 4 km). Below Eidsfossen there are some deep pools and several interesting places for big trout. Every year, some fish up to four kilograms are caught here. It is also said that ones a grayling of 67 cm was taken on a dry fly!. Down to Kvennan Camping in the area around the islands are good fly fishing spots throughout the season.

Licenses can be purchased either by: Internet, SMS (see notice at the river) or local outlets (sports shops, campsites, tourist, etc.).

You can purchase a combination license for all four zones (Tolga zone, Eidsfossen zone, Fly fishing zone and Glomma Tynset zone). You must respect the separate rules
in each zone.

Fishing Rules

Fishing period from June 1th until Oktober 15th

Permitted with flies, lures, worms, but not with small fish. Only hooks without barb.

All grayling under 35 cm must be released. Be careful when handling fish that will be released again.

Bag limit: maximum of 3 grayling per fishing day.

All trout must be released.
 
The license is strictly personal and not transferable. The fishing license is not valid without identification.
 
Children under 16 fish for free but must otherwise comply with the regulations.
 
Violations of the regulations may result in prosecution.

Other information
Show respect for the cultivated land. Do not walk over fields.
Take all rubbish home. The river environment is a shared responsibility.
Use as much as possible the marked parking spaces (see large map)
When camping, use as much as possible marked area's. Show respect for buildings and public access. Some roads require to pay toll. Follow the information signs!

Important for releasing fish
For fish to survive catch and release the following is very important:
- Land the fish as fast as you can!
- Do not touch the fish with dry hands
- DO NOT lift the fish out of water unnecessarily
- Be fast and efficient
- Use forceps to unhook the fish
