Tynset East fishing area
Tynset østre fishing area is located east of Tynset. The forest is dominated by pine and birch trees. There are also some areas with bare rock. Very nice hiking trails and abundant wildlife. Parts of the area have farming activities. Suitable for families and recreational fisherman. One can expect trout in all sizes.

Tynset West fishing area
The area is located a few kilometres north of Tynset. Here are several habitats: from pine- and spruce forest to bare rock. Mountain birch forests are still the most dominant. The area offers beautiful hikes and has a rich wildlife. There are farming activities in the area. Fishing is suitable for all ages.

Tylldalen fishing area
Tylldalen represents an area with a variety of opportunities for fishing. There is famous river Tysla, known for it's trout, but there are also beautiful lakes in the valleys and mountains.
Trout and char are the most important species. In recent years substantial resources have been invested in cultivation of the lakes in Tylldalen, with good results. One can find good areas for family fishing where the fish are smaller in size but very willing to bite. One can also find "spots" where big fish give you a real challenge.

Brydalen fishing area
The area lies east of Tynset. Opportunities for fishing in streams, rivers and lakes.The fishing spots are easily accessible from the road.
