Nytrøa fishing area
Located 25 km north of Tynset (Road 3). The area offers a great variety with regard to fishing: there are rivers, streams, small and large ponds and lakes. Most places are relatively easy accessible by roads, dirt roads and trails. The area is also excellent for  hiking country and very suitable for families.

Lake Børstusjøen:
Relatively large lake with trout and char. Great variation in size. There are big brown trout in this water. Fishing Tip: lures and worms.

River Tunna:
The river flows through Stubsjøen and Sørsjøen. Slow flowing. Trout and char of varying size. Parts of the river are easily accessible, and some parts are very well suited for fly fishing using small rods.

River Gløta:
The upper parts are relatively coarse, while the lower parts have slow flowing sections. Trout and char of varying size. Parts of the river is very well suited to fly fishing with light tackle.

Lake Stubsjøen:
Easy accessible. Located on Road 3.
Trout and char of varying sizes, suitable for all types of fishing.

Lake Trolltjønna:

Idyllic lakes with trout and char. Relatively easily accessible. Suitable for all types of fishing, including fly fishing.

Fishing Rules
Fishing season: all year. Closure for trout from September 15th until October 13th.

Permitted with flies, lures, worms, but not with small fish.

Show moderation in killing of big fish!

The license is strictly personal and not transferable. The fishing license is not valid without identification.
 
Children under 16 fish for free but must otherwise comply with the regulations.
 
Violations of the regulations may result in prosecution.

Other information
Show respect for the cultivated land. Do not walk over fields.

Take all rubbish home. The environment is a shared responsibility.

Use as much as possible the marked parking spaces.

Show respect for buildings and public access.

Some roads require to pay toll. Follow the information signs!

Keep your dog on a leash, there is cattle around.
