Tynset østre fishing area is located east of Tynset. The forest is dominated by pine and birch trees. There are also some areas with bare rock. Very nice hiking trails and abundant wildlife. Parts of the area have farming activities. Suitable for families and recreational fisherman. One can expect trout in all sizes.

Aumlia:
This little river has several ponds along the main watercourse. Here one can expect good catches of trout in varying sizes. Fits very well for families: chances of success are indeed present. In the river Auma there are some nice pools one should try. Areas suitable for worm- , fly- and lure fishing.
Gammeldalen:
Has river Tela which holds trout. Small river where the fish are not so big but chances of success are absolutely present. Worm fishing with a long rod is a good fishing tip.

Fishing rules
Fishing season: all year. Closure for trout from September 15th until October 13th'
Permitted with flies, lures, worms, but not with small fish.
The license is strictly personal and not transferable. The fishing license is not valid without identification.
Children under 16 fish for free but must otherwise comply with the regulations.
Violations of the regulations may result in prosecution.
Other information
Show respect for the cultivated land. Do not walk over fields.
Take all rubbish home. The environment is a shared responsibility.
Use as much as possible the marked parking spaces.
