Lake Finstadsjøen:
Relatively large lake with trout and char. Trout in good condition and good size. Char in smaller sizes In recent years many small char have been netted out, resulting in better stocks of big fish. During this netting several trout between 4 - 5 kg were released, and they are still there ...
The area is suitable for worm, lure and fly fishing. Bait fishermen are reporting good catches. One can usually expect to catch trout from 0,25 kg and up to 1 kg.
River Brya:
River Brya between lake Finstadsjøen and Vestlibrua bridge. Hit migrating trout from lake Finstadsjøen. The river many slow flowing sections, and well suited for fly fishing.
River Speka:
River Speka from Vestlibra. Small stream trout fishing. Funny fishing in breathtaking scenery from Mount Spekehogget. Accessible from the toll road to Spekedalen and Raudsjødalen valleys.

Fishing Rules
Fishing season: all year. Closure for trout from September 15th until October 13th.
Permitted with flies, lures, worms, but not with small fish.
Show moderation in killing of big fish!
The license is strictly personal and not transferable. The fishing license is not valid without identification.
Children under 16 fish for free but must otherwise comply with the regulations.
Violations of the regulations may result in prosecution.
Other information
Show respect for the cultivated land. Do not walk over fields.
Take all rubbish home. The river environment is a shared responsibility.
Use as much as possible the marked parking spaces.
Show respect for buildings and public access.
Some roads require to pay toll. Follow the information signs!
Keep your dog on a leash, there is cattle around.
